Alaskan
Similar to a large Ojibwa snowshoe in general shape and function, the Alaskan's upturned toe, large surface area, and sleek profile excel at covering open trail distances through any depth of snow. These are excellent snowshoe for large people, for carrying large packs, and for those who prefer the classic frontiersman style.
Green Mountain
A fine example of the traditional and much-loved New England mountain snowshoe. The rounded toes make these snowshoes easier to pack for an expedition. The modest size allows for increased mobility and quick turns, making these shoes ideal for outdoor work project.
Huron
These snowshoes have their roots with the Huron people who lived along the Saint Lawrance river in southern Canada and the North eastern united states. Similar in general shape and function to the Alaskan snowshoe, the Huron's upturned toe and large surface area excel at covering distances over open trail through any depth of snow.
Ojibwa Traditional
Of all the shapes and styles we make, the Ojibwa Snowshoe is our favorite. Its "nesting shape" along with it's pointed tail and toe encourage easy and efficient walking. Strongly preferred by Canadian and US snowshoes and winter guides, this design is considered by many to be the best fit for beginners as well as for general day trips and for serious winter trekking.
